West Bay

Sheltered by Estero Bay to the west and the Estero River to the north, West
Bay's wetlands, woodlands and preserves offer safe haven to hundreds of
species of birds, retiles and all sorts of land and aquatic animals. Stands
of century-old trees, flowering plants and bushes too numerous to mention
flourish here as well.

Golf
Course designers Pete and P.B. Dye created a course both challenging
to golfers and respectful of the land. The 30,000 square foot Golf House at
West Bay Club is long and situated so that it overlooks holes one, nine, and
eighteen, three of the most spectacular on the course. The club level
features a gallery that runs virtually the length of the club, a spacious
restaurant and bar and a separate, more intimate dining room for special
occasions. The wide veranda provides panoramic vies of the course. Men’s and
women’s locker rooms are tastefully appointed and luxuriously proportioned.
The pro shop carries an outstanding selection of equipment and clothing for
both men and women. The Niblick is the distinctive 19th hole.
Bay House
Inside is the Bay House grill and bar, which offers eclectic menus for
lunch and dinner. Relax in the spacious drawing room, with views from its
enclosed veranda. The lower level has a fully equipped Cybex fitness center,
as well as massage rooms, a personal training room and spacious locker
rooms. All West Bay Club residents are welcome. Outdoors, there’s a junior
Olympic-sized pool, a separate children’s pool, a covered spa and lighted
Har-Tru tennis courts. In short, the Bay House has all the ingredients for a
great day.
Beach House
The Beach House is a private beach club on Little Hickory Island
available to all West Bay Club residents. The Beach House has all the
beachside amenities you would expect. Designed with Key West flair, the
Beach House sits high above the beach. The 85-seat restaurant and bar offers
seating indoors and outdoors, and a menu spiced with many local favorites,
prepared by an expert culinary staff. It’s the ideal place to sit back,
enjoy the views and recount a perfect day with family and friends.
River Park
Located at the north end of the property, right on the Estero River is
West Bay Club’s River Park. It’s the place to launch a canoe or kayak for a
relaxed trip along the river’s tranquil waters, which lead to Estero Bay and
the Gulf of Mexico. It has a children’s playground, a lighted basketball
court, a large all-purpose sports field and a 1.5-mile, 12-station Vita
course.
